Our youth community is an essential part of Kujipenda.
From our youth advisory to event planning, workshop facilitator, youth mentor, and event support, youth are critical to our team.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities
If you’re interested in volunteering, please confirm your participation by replying to this email by March 19, 2025.
We are currently seeking volunteers for a 10-hour shift (with scheduled breaks).
An honorarium of $200 will be provided via e-transfer as a token of appreciation.
Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers may be asked to submit the following:
- A resume
- A vulnerable sector check (completed within the past three years)
- A Smart Serve certificate (if you are eligible to serve food to guests)
Volunteer Expectations & Responsibilities
- Volunteers must wear a designated t-shirt, black pants, and comfortable shoes.
- Be prepared to interact with hundreds of youth aged 12 and up.
- Expect to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Breaks will be scheduled every 2-3 hours for 30-45 minutes.
- Duties may include greeting guests, engaging with groups, and assisting with various event tasks.
