In this engaging and interactive workshop, presented by Kesha Christie, youth will explore how storytelling and self-expression can be powerful tools for leadership and confidence building. Through hands-on activities, participants will learn how to harness their personal narratives to inspire action, foster connection, and amplify their voices in leadership settings. The session will begin with an introduction to the power of personal storytelling, helping youth recognize how their lived experiences shape their identity and leadership potential. Participants will then engage in exercises designed to overcome fear and self-doubt, such as “The Bold Statement” activity, where they declare their strengths aloud.

Through small group discussions and real-world examples, youth will discover how storytelling has been used to drive social change and community action. They will leave with practical techniques for speaking with confidence, crafting impactful messages, and using storytelling to lead in school, community, and beyond.
