Course Learning Objectives

Holistic Wellness: Understanding, Assessing, and Strengthening Your Whole Self

Kwasi Adu-Poku’s facilitated session aligns with the Kujitambua theme by helping participants reimagine wellness as a multidimensional and empowering practice. Through an interactive exploration of 14 distinct areas of wellness, participants will deepen their understanding of how different domains — including emotional, physical, social, spiritual, digital, and more — influence their overall well-being.

Youth will complete a brief digital wellness assessment to identify their current wellness levels, using measurable indicators to better understand patterns, strengths, and areas for growth. Guided reflection will support participants in developing personalized strategies to strengthen specific wellness domains and improve long-term outcomes.

The session also provides practical tools to manage and mitigate burnout, equipping participants with greater awareness of how stress accumulates and how intentional practices can restore balance. By the end of the workshop, youth will walk away with a clearer understanding of the diverse areas of wellness available to them and a personalized plan to support sustainable, whole-person growth.
