Healthy Relationships – Emotional Intelligence & Toxic Masculinity
We all desire to have strong relationships with unbreakable bonds. The reality is, though, sometimes those relationships falter and our role in that can be overlooked. The purpose of this workshop is to have a critical conversation surrounding the way we think about relationships with ourselves, our families, peers, and communities. Nothing changes unless you do first, and the power to make decisions as it relates to who we are connected to often lies within us.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify, acknowledge, and discuss strategies to manage emotions as we experience them.
- Discuss some of the ways youth have been socialized to believe what healthy versus unhealthy relationships are.
- Create more awareness of how emotions affect decision-making.
